The film follows Park Bong-pal (Ok Taec-yeon), a college student who has the ability to see and communicate with ghosts. He uses his power to work as an exorcist, banishing ghosts in order to make enough money to undergo a procedure that will take his ability away. One day, Bong-pal meets Kim Hyun-ji (Kim So-hyun), a ghost who has been wandering the Earth for five years because she is unable to move on to the afterlife. Hyun-ji has no memory of how she died, and she is determined to find out the truth. Bong-pal agrees to help Hyun-ji find out what happened to her, and the two of them team up to exorcise ghosts and solve paranormal mysteries. Along the way, they develop feelings for each other.
